people recently asked whether my short story is based on actual events. ummm no, i made up majority of those events (however, the conversation about the airplane in the sky and thrice really did take place) but that doesn't mean that it made reading the piece aloud in class any easier. to add to that, having my professor point out things that i have beaten myself up over again and again just isn't fun. i messed up what that boy and i had and that is probably the biggest reason why i can't ever forget him. it's been almost 4 years, how pathetic can i be.

oh wells. my brother thinks i should take up my professor's suggestion and submit the piece for the palanca award thingy. i don't know. i am always hesitant to submit my stories for anything. i don't think anything i write is ever good enough to receive any sort of praise and thus was taken aback when my professor loved it. how odd. apparently i can make a living out of writing if i really bother to pursue it. but will i bother?

anyways, onto something that is much more interesting...
