i've been back in polluted Manila for 9 days now and while i do have my momentary bouts of happiness, i have longer moments of loneliness where i find myself wondering why i bothered returning to the Philippines when school doesn't start till end of May.

but at least my thesis is finally moving forward. i re-wrote my entire chapter one and now am in track to finish everything by early July - provided i stick to the schedule i've drawn up for myself. i really hope this sudden spur of writing doesn't feign because i cannot postpone my graduation any longer. right now, i'm writing just for the sake of graduating because the end of school would mean my return to Singapore for good.

...i really miss the feeling of living on my own.
